Theater Arts

Theater is a collaborative art form which combines movement, voice, words and visual elements to express meaning.  Within our theater arts program there is truly a part for everyone! Although not everyone enjoys performing, theater appeals to all types of learners and engages a variety of skills.  In addition to our actors and actresses, we have a student director, student-led stage crews, as well as students that help to build sets and props.

Theater has direct academic curriculum connections to literature, informational texts, writing, speaking and listening, language arts and mathematics.

Our theater productions include students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The SJND theater arts program has been bringing our community together for over 20 years!
