Guardians

Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13

The Guardians are young men in 5th - 8th grades at St John Notre Dame committed to Jesus Christ through Prayer, Study, and Fraternity. Our motto of "Oremus pro invicem," (let us pray for one another) reflects our desire for God's grace and for unity with each other, Jesus Christ and His Church.
The Guardians meet once a week before school to help each other in the quest to develop a life of discipleship, fraternity and faith.
We emphasize a life of prayer and love for Christ and His Church while fostering authentic friendships. The Guardians strive to become leaders in living the Faith on and off campus through their involvement in mass, service, and the needs of the school community.
We learn how to pray and how to follow the guidance and wisdom of Church Teachings and Scripture flowing from a relationship with Jesus Christ.  The Guardians meet regularly for Liturgy of the Hours, which is rooted in the Monastic tradition, to bind us together with The Church worldwide and eternal.  We learn how to be a true friend and how to accompany one another as we continue on our journeys.

Oremus pro invicem!
