California Junior Scholarship Federation’s motto is Scholarship for Service. Our chapter’s motto is Saving the World… One Root Beer Float at a Time. One of the primary objectives of Catholic education is to develop Christian leadership. Through their participation on the Student Council, students learn responsibility, share school spirit, and develop leadership skills. The student government program also provides service to the school, church, and community. Student Council is comprised of elected members from 6th through 8th grade and class representatives from 5th through 8th grades.

This team is open to students in 6-8th grade as a zero period class one day a week from September - February to prepare for the intense diocesan competition held the first week of March. We study logic, science, history, literature, religion, and so much more. At March’s big event students compete in individual and team events which culminate in the highly anticipated and tension filled Super Quiz.
