The Primary School (Grades 1-5) builds on the firm foundation developed in Early Childhood Education (ECE).  With an intentional focus on teaching through positive student relationships, students learn English Language Arts, Math, Science, History, and Religion.  The main goal of the Primary School is for students to develop these skills in order to examine the importance and beauty of living their Catholic faith.

Primary School students have the benefit of small group instruction with on-going assessment and progress monitoring in reading and Math.  Students also receive weekly instruction from specialized subject teachers in  PE, Art, Music, STEM and Library.  Lessons include not only high quality learning activities, but also integrated instruction of Catholic virtues and Notre Dame Hallmarks.  Every homeroom teacher is assisted  by at least one classroom aide along with regular communication and support from our MTSS resource program.
